Need a break from the beach? Got kids who need to burn off some energy? Then keep reading, because El Dorado Water Park is the biggest splash in the Caribbean, and it's just a short ride from your hotel in Cap Cana.
The park is split into four themed worlds, each with its own adventure:
- Mar de Fuego – The thrill zone! Free-fall slides like Trágame Tierra, Huracán and Salto de Fé, plus Troncos Locos, La Caza del Jaguar and the Cañón Turquesa diving canyon.
- Alisios – Ride the waves at Olas de Magma, drift around Río Lágrimas lazy river, or claim a spot on Las Arenas del Viento beach.
- Pantano Encantado – The family zone, with kids' rivers, splash areas, Laguna Medusa and the warm pools of Las Termas.
- Las Puertas del Poder – The gateway to the park, with restaurants, the gift shop and the photo lab.
From screaming down a near-vertical drop to snoozing in a hammock, there's something here for every member of the family!
Getting hungry? Grab burgers, nachos and desserts at Bamboorant, Italian and Mexican food at Cocorico, pizza at Platanito in the kids' area, or a coffee and fresh juice at Manatí Café.
Hammocks, umbrellas, changing rooms and showers are all included, so all you have to do is show up and get wet.
