Here’s What You Get

Your transport will take you to the Segway base camp, south of the airport, to the lush private grounds of Punta Cana. At camp, you’ll receive a welcome cocktail and some safety instructions and tips on how to maneuver your Segway. Never ridden a Segway before? No problem! Just a few revs back and forth and you’ll have the hang of it in no time.

With everyone on their Segway, our excursion takes you through the winding wooded paths of the renowned Punta Cana Ecological Reserve, which provides a safe habitat for an abundance of birds, reptiles, insects, and other local flora and fauna. We’ll pass several greenhouses, a bee farm, a farm animal ranch and a sugar cane plantation/exhibition.

We proceed into the immaculate property of Punta Cana Hotel, crossing La Cana Golf Course, and through the grounds of Punta Cana’s most luxurious resort: Tortuga Bay, decorated by the famous Dominican fashion designer, Oscar de la Renta. Here, we make a stop at the awe-inspiring Serena Beach with bone white sand, turquoise colored lapping waters and shade bearing palm trees. You’ll have time to swim in this unforgettable and unparalleled Caribbean setting.

Just when you think the excursion could not get any better, we save the best for last! Our final stop takes us to the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve, a hidden oasis of 12 fresh water lagoons located along several forest paths and surrounded by lush vegetation. Jump in or just hang out in the cool refreshing waters of Punta Cana’s famous crystal clear lagoons. On the way back to camp, we’ll even stop to feed some rhinoceros iguanas, a reptile endemic to the Dominican Republic.

As a security measure, the use of cameras, iPods and cell phones is forbidden while riding the Segway. Pregnant women cannot do the Segway tour, although they may accompany the tour in one of our electric golf carts.
